What is “Fast Money” and “More Money”?

Fast Money is our quick payout service that puts cash in your hand the same day as your free item appraisal. More Money is our item brokering service where we track down the right buyer for your item to net you a higher return on your sale.

What is “brokering” and how does it work?

Brokering is the term we use when selling an item for a customer with the intention of getting the highest return possible. Essentially, B’nB Broker Buyer works as the middle man in finding the highest paying buyer for your item to guarantee we both make more from the sale.

If your choose to broker your item with B’nB after your free appraisal, an agreement will be made on the price you’d like to receive and the amount of time we will hold your item in attempt to sell it. B’nB will keep you updated along the way and contact you with any reasonable offer before finalizing a sale. Once your item sells, you will receive a check for your portion of the sale within 7-10 business days.

How do you determine the appraisal value of an item?

At B’nB Broker Buyer, we utilize our professional buying expertise combined with research data compiled from trusted global selling resources to determine the current fair-market value of every item we appraise.

Fair-market value is based on a combination of factors including the physical condition of the item, whether or not it has its original packaging, and the current market demand found by comparing what similar items have sold for recently. We take pride in walking our customers through the appraisal process step-by-step to educate them on how we arrive at our valuation.

Keep in mind, appraisal valuations are our expert assessments and not price tags. As markets fluctuate, the value of an item may increase or decrease for any number of reasons.

B’nB Broker Buyer offers percentage-based payouts based on our free appraisal valuation and the B’nB service you choose to use, Fast Money or More Money.

With a payout scale ranging from 50% to 95% of your item’s fair-market value, we guarantee the highest payouts in Central New York!

OK, I’m ready to do business with you. Do I sell you the item or broker it?

The answer to that is going to depend on your needs.

If you broker items using our More Money service, you receive the highest return for your valuables as we work on your behalf to find the highest paying buyer. With this option, you will have to wait for the item to sell before getting paid.

If you sell us items using our Fast Money service, you receive a comparatively smaller return for your valuables based on the lower end of our appraisal valuation. With this option, you will walk away from your free appraisal with cash in your pocket that same day.

Will I need to bring anything else with me when selling an item?

Yes, first and foremost, B’nB requires each customer selling an item to have a valid picture ID, such as a state-issued driver’s license or military identification, to prove they are 18 years of age or older. Sorry, no exceptions.

Additionally, we ask customers to bring any original purchase receipts they may have along with any literature or certificates of authenticity relating to the item that may help prove its value. If you’ve had the item appraised elsewhere in the past, we suggest bringing any documentation from that as well.

Basically, the more information we have at the time of your appraisal, the better we can serve you.

Can I sell B’nB this item if it… errr… fell off the back of a truck?

If you’re implying that the item is stolen, then no. B’nB Broker Buyer never has, and never will knowingly accept stolen property. Our employees are trained to identify the characteristics of questionable merchandise and will contact law enforcement if they have reason to believe someone is attempting to sell us stolen merchandise.
